Arranged by the artist and driven by motors, the collected and processed natural materials are set in motion in an unnatural way. The result is a composed soundscape.
Things, materials & events already imply a sound through their visual appearance. This sound we in turn ascribe to ourselves, depending on the respective experiences or the personal level of knowledge. These attributions can be objective and subjective. In the work rpm – Curated Nature, natural materials are selected, taken out of their original context and brought into a man-made interior.
